Education and Professional Training

Dalia’s academic and clinical training reflects an interdisciplinary approach that bridges psychotherapy, education, spirituality, neuroscience, rehabilitation, and the arts. She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Sociology and completed postgraduate supervised clinical training in Marriage and Family Therapy. She holds Bachelor of Education degrees in both Special Education and Jewish Philosophy, together with teaching certification.

Her advanced clinical training includes EMDR certification, advanced Somatic Experiencing® practitioner training, specialization in brain vision rehabilitation as an Endorsed CVI (Cortical/Cerebral Visual Impairment) Specialist, and training in Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and intersectional dialogue.

Throughout her career, Dalia has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families across a wide range of disabilities, neuro-divergent presentations, visual impairments, and complex developmental and medical conditions. Her work has spanned clinical, educational, and community settings, fostering an integrative and strengths-based approach to care.

Having lived and practiced in Israel for over two decades, she has worked extensively with people from diverse cultural, religious, and social backgrounds, including Ultra-Orthodox, secular, Palestinian Arab, Druze, and immigrant communities. These experiences continue to inform her commitment to culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and inclusive practice.

Dalia has also participated in advanced professional trainings with internationally recognized leaders in the field of trauma, including Deb Dana, Peter A. Levine, and Onno van der Hart during their teaching visits to Israel.

Following the events of October 7th, she completed additional advanced trauma training through the Israel Trauma Institute in collaboration with NATAL-Israel’s leading nonprofit organization dedicated to the treatment of trauma and the promotion of community resilience in the aftermath of war, terror, and national crises.

In addition to her clinical education, Dalia has pursued formal studies in fine arts and Jewish philosophy, reflecting a lifelong interest in the intersection of psychology, spirituality, creativity, and human development. Her ongoing study of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu reflects a deep professional interest in the relationship between the body, resilience, safety, and trauma recovery.
